slow breakfast service missing towels
The breakfast service was not great. Staff seemed overwhelmed and slow. i often had to ask multiple times for coffee and cutlery, annoying. also, our room wasn't cleaned one day, and all the towels were taken without replacements. leaving us without toilet paper was just unacceptable, and the indoor pool was unclean with murky water and an unpleasant smell. it seems this hotel isn't a 5-star experience!

good selection breakfast spacious room quick taxi moldy pool uneven surface worn carpet
I appreciated the hotel's location. It was a short taxi ride to many attractions. The concierge helped with arranging taxis quickly. Breakfast had a good selection. I also found my room and terrace spacious.
I found some areas needing attention. The pool edges had mold. Liners around the pool were coming off. The pool surfaces felt uneven to me. I also noticed the carpets in the hotel looked worn.

worn carpets lacking upkeep
the breakfast was acceptable.
The air conditioning in my room did not work, problematic during the hot days. I reported it, yet nothing was done. additionally, the carpets throughout the hotel looked worn, needing replacement. i also found the general upkeep lacking for a hotel of this supposed calibre.

decent stay, some drawbacks
good choices respectful staff missing bathrobe faulty phone
the breakfast had good food choices and services. all staff were courteous, including front desk, concierge, and door attendants.
i stayed in a room. the room did not have bathrobes. i also tried to call room service but the phone seemed to not work.

unrefilled minibar disorganized service
I found some aspects disappointing. My room's minibar was not refilled during my entire stay despite my raising this issue twice with the reception and I found this inconvenient. The service in the Italian restaurant was quite slow and disorganized. It took a long time for our orders to be taken and even longer for the food to arrive. I felt the staff needed better training to handle peak hours efficiently.
